Creator Conduct Policy
Our community thrives when every member feels safe, respected, and empowered. This policy outlines the expectations we hold for creators, collaborators, and partners who participate in HUSH.
Champion respect and inclusion
- Harassment, hate speech, discrimination, bullying, or coordinated pile-ons are not tolerated.
- Focus feedback on the work, not the person, and step away if emotions run high.
- Respect personal boundaries. Unsolicited advances, repeated DMs after a decline, or invasive questions are violations.
Protect privacy and sensitive information
- Only share files, conversations, or opportunities that you have explicit permission to distribute.
- Do not leak unreleased content, private creator materials, legal names, addresses, or identifying information.
- Flag suspicious links immediately—malware, phishing, or doxxing attempts trigger immediate review.
Collaborate with integrity
- Be clear about compensation, credit, timelines, and scope before work begins.
- Pay collaborators promptly, honour licensing agreements, and keep deliverables on platform when possible.
- Use HUSH tools to highlight other creators and never misrepresent your role in a project.
Keep our spaces safe and compliant
- Follow all applicable laws, creator regulations, and the HUSH Terms of Service.
- No spam, scams, self-harm encouragement, extremism, or sexual content involving minors.
- Use the in-product Report and Block tools whenever something feels off—our safety team monitors them continuously.
Enforcement escalation
Every report is triaged in our moderation queue. Outcomes follow a documented escalation ladder so creators know what to expect:
- Warning. First substantiated violation results in a written warning and targeted education.
- Suspension. A second issue within 12 months triggers temporary removal from messaging, chatrooms, and discovery surfaces.
- Ban. Ongoing or severe abuse results in permanent removal from HUSH and partner properties.
Safety reviewers may accelerate the timeline for egregious harm (e.g. threats, non-consensual intimate imagery, fraud) to keep the community protected.
